About A. Golosna Photography
Anastasia Golosna is a published digital and film photographer in the Sacramento region. She is 24 years old, was born in the Ukraine and immigrated to the U.S. with her parents when she was 6 years old with hopes of a better future. Her passion for photography stemmed from her father, who was a professional photographer back in the Ukraine, and who has been her greatest mentor and supporter along with her mother. She has loved photography all her life, and began pursuing it as a career in 2015. She is currently enrolled at American River College, and has received her Certification for Freelance Photography. Her work often involves concepts of nature intertwined with the human form. She often experiments with new and creative ways to make her audience approach nature as a work of art, and has been recently experimenting with conceptual art as well as surrealism. Her goals are to be able to bring beauty into peoples lives through photography, travel the world photographing people, wildlife and nature in hopes of being able to shed light on, or support issues she cares about such as human rights, environmental impacts and societal injustices and constructs.
Aside from being an exhibiting photographer, Anastasia also does commissioned and commercial work. Visit her "Contact" page in order to get in touch with her directly.
